Default Rapid Detox Alternatives in Columbus Ohio

Hello - i am a new member and i am looking for help from some people who i think will understand where i am coming from. I have been hooked on Oxy for about 2 years now and i desperately want to get clean but just can't do it on my own. the thought of detoxing just scares the heck out of me so i have been researching Rapid Detox as an option. the closest facility i have been able to find is in Chicago. Does anyone know of any Ultra Rapid Detox providers that are closer to Columbus OH. Thank you.

Have you considered using Suboxone for a short period of time (less than one month) to get through the nasty Cold Turkey withdrawals that opiates cause?

I've tried to quit many times. My drug of choice was smoking black tar heroin and towards the end, I was using about an average of 1 gram per day. I was a year and a half habit for me. Anyways, about 15-18 hours after using if I ever went that long, my withdrawals would kick in HORRIBLY, starting with episodes of VIOLENTLY puking. One this started to happen, my addiction left me no other choice to but to use to alleviate those feelings. Bottom line is, I couldn't quit cold turkey...I got too sick, and it was too much for me to handle.

So, I was able to get my hands on some suboxone and took that for about 24 days. I induced at 5-6mg the first day, and then went kind of like this:
    Days 2-5: 4mg
    Days 5-8: 3mg
    Days 8-12: 2mg
    Days 12-13: 1.5mg
    Days 14-19: 1mg
    Day 20-21: .75mg
    Day 22-23: .5mg
    Day 24: .25mg
    Day 25: 0mg
    Day 26: 0mg
    Day 27 (TODAY): 0mg

And you know what, I'm doing fine. Sleep is tough without benzos, energy levels are low, but this is 1/500th as severe as what I was experiencing 15-18 hours after stopping heroin cold turkey.

Many people have very positive results using suboxone for a short time, less than a month, ideally probably 1-2 weeks, but I used it for 3 1/2 weeks and so far, so good.

Anyways, you taken the first step. You've reached out and shown that you need and want help. A courageous first step to take. Let me know if you have questions I can hope to answer.

    Me right now:
    - 27 days off heroin
    - 3rd day off suboxone...last .25mg of sub was early Wednesday morning.

You can do this. I was so hopeless for a while, but if you're really determined, I know you can do it.
