Love, not time, heals all wounds.

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” 1 Peter 4:8

Feel the fear...and do it anyways...

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed in us". (Romans 8:18)

“Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him?” Matthew 7:9-11

God does not waste suffering --if He plows, it is because He purposes a crop.

“Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us.” Romans 5:3-5

....if you going through hell....keep on walking through it..

Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgement that there is something else is more important than the fear.

A person can live for 40 days without food, 3 days without water, 8 minutes without air, but hardly for one second without hope.

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life.” Proverbs 13:12

Bitterness and resentment are like weeds—unless you destroy the root, they will appear again and again.

“See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.” Hebrews 12:15

this goes for addiction as well, if you don't get to the root of "the why" you became an addict in the first place you are doomed to repeat it over and over again, sometimes with the same substance...sometimes with replacement substances.

You will never succeed personally or professionally if you try to be someone other than yourself.

“You are God’s work of art, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10

Cross + 3 nails = 4 given

“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Blessed Easter, Everyone! He is risen! He is risen indeed!!

Nothing is neutral. Everything that you're doing is either moving you toward the things that you want to accomplish in life and the person you want to be or it's moving you away.

“Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Hebrews 12:1

Failure seldom stops you. What stops you is the fear of failure.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

You cannot hate someone for whom you are praying, no matter how much hurt they have caused you.

“But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” Matthew 5:44

God’s unseen presence comforts me,
I know He’s always near;
And when life’s storms besiege our soul,
He says, “My child, I’m here.” —D. De Haan

God is willing to make the best of us, but we have to be willing to give Him the worst of us.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Psalm 139:23-24

Like a dog that digs up his old buried bones, we dig up old unforgiven offenses to chew on at our pity parties, wave in front of others as gossip, or use as weapons of revenge.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32
