Yes ... I did. I used to take it with hydrocodone and valium. When I introduced soma into the mix I started to slur my speech regularly, nod out all the time at the drop of a hat, and sleep for 15 hours easy.

It's dangerous stuff and anyone using it with other depressants is basically begging for an overdose.

    Glad you're all right.

I totally agree with you.....its wicked stuff......I use to eat it like candy on top of everything else I was taking and it really f***** me up.....lots of folks dont realize that the detox from soma can be a real b****.....sorry for all the profanity but it is bad stuff under the guise of a simple muscle relaxer....

Glad to hear you got off....

When I was living in Phoenix, there was a woman shot by the cops passing a bogus prescription for them at a walgreens. I've dabbled with it and man, it was heavy duty. Glad you're ok.
Don't be afraid of withdrawal. The sick feeling will pass and then the real work starts: staying sober. For me, the rooms of AA were the last thing I tried and the first thing that worked, but it will only work if you work it.

I took soma nearly everyday for a year in the last stage of my addiction. I ended up alone and hated to se the sun rise everyday,it depressed me and I loved night time wishing I would die or the world would end soon.
I would take soma when I woke up until I blacked out or passed out .I was found 15 times by who ever ?I only remember waking up in the hospital with a catheter. I had many seziures when I finally stopes taking it and very real crazy nightmares,I heard music playing when there was no music playing accept in my head. I had weird thoughts. Now I can look back to Dec. 2009 and see how horrible this drug was.I think we will be hearing more about this soma until it is hopefully and finally banned....Just my story well some of it

Yes, Somas are very very very addictive in only 3 weeks of taking them I went to hell and barely returned. I could find no drug or anything to override the withdrawal symptoms. And none of the Pharmacist will even start to discuss them. (I have read they have been banned from certain countries already.

I went to the ER for help from these things and they just sent me home and said I was a drug addict. I swear I never took more than I was suppose to, but yes obviously I was addicted, I'm talking very addicted. I'm now happy to say I have escaped the somas.

....But Now the opiates have control of me, I'm not abusing them either, but man, and i mean man, if I miss one dose it's like hell freezing over. I'm so sad and disgusted with myself for ever touching pills, they're the f///in devil.

Anyway, My prays go out to you, I wish you the best.

I also was on Soma during my addiction. If I remember correctly my Dr put me on it, as he said, not only to help my pain, but it also increased the effectiveness of the oxy and morphine I was on. Just what any addict would love to hear. Fill er up please! Not sure about the WDs from it alone, I droped Oxy, Tram, Soma, Neurotininn and Flexaril all together. That ride sucked the big wazoo!
Cheers.....living it 1 day at a time and loving it!

Well I took too many soma and after 6 at a time which is how many I would take.......

I would get so incoherent that I would take more not even knowing how many I ended up taking after I woke up .Where ever that would be. Ground, car, hospital usually .

I now have nightmare sometimes still about those pills killing me . In every dream I am dying .

I never had seizures when I took them as prescribed when I first took them after a surgery. If I took too many and only when I would go a week taking enormous amounts and all of the sudden stop, that would really stir up vivid horrible seziures and freakish nightmares.... man I mean weird stuff.

I am scared to death to even take one now months into recovery, last Dec was my last bout with soma. I was divorced over these, my fault of course. I am just saying they really brought me and my family down fast......back together now with ex and son but almost lost it all over soma.Jail, state hospital for a week , court probation all over soma.

I will always think of those horrible two years if ever tempted. It is an everyday struggle too.
