    Default Doctors that prescribe methadone

Is there such thing as a doctor that can prescribe methadone to you, outside of a methadone clinic?

    Yes-

It's done often. Physicians can script methadone for pain all day long.

Scripting methadone for opiate dependency is the sitch where many more regs apply.

I get a script for methadose (generic methadone). It is pretty cheap too compared to hydrocodone and oxycodone. I started using it for back pain and then quit for a while and now using it to ease the w/d of oxys. Some doctors do not like to give it to you, but some swear by it!!!

Yes they are 10 mg tablets that last 12 - 16 hours. They usually take about 4 hours to get into your system.
