Default QUESTION OF THE DAY

We had this thread a while ago and most people really enjoyed it. the questions were thought provoking on pretty much every subject under the sun. It really helped eveyone to get to know each other better.

I will start out with the first question and then if you want to take a turn asking a question just let me know and the next question will be yours to ask. The subject matter of the questions can be light and airy or heavy and thought provoking.

I will ask the first question...I look forward to hearing everyone answers...

If you could go back and live one year of your life over again, which one would it be? Why did you choose it?

Feel the fear...and do it anyways...

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed in us". (Romans 8:18)

When I became pregnant with my first child. I was clean and sober and felt amazing with this little life growing in me. I would always touch my stomach and be so careful and talk to myself! It was surely the happiest Ive ever felt in my entire life!

Maybe 84-85. I wonder if doing thing differently would have produced a better outcome. I try not to think too much about stuff like this because there are so many things I wish I'd done differently it leads to morbid refelction.

The first thing that popped into my head was the year I started taking vicodin. I would love to re-live that over! The year was 2000.

At first I thought I would go back to the year I got Hep C, then I thought maybe back to the year I got married. But, I don't think I want to go back at all, so that's my answer. Those things made me who I am today, and I'm pretty happy with that....disease, divorce and all.

Wouldn't change the time at all.

Very much defined by the '60's...an amazing era.

Have gotten to witness some of the most remarkable technological changes that bring us today.[8D]

I think I'll just stick with the present.

2005 ... It's had it's share of ups and downs, but if I went back and changed any other year I wouldn't be where I am today ... (now...if I could go back, KNOWING what I know now ??.. I'd go back to whatever year it was that Microsoft went public and would have invested $100 K and would now be a happy gazillionaire )

todays question is....

If you could have lived at any other time in history when would it have been and why????

If I HAD to pick a time, it would probably be the early to mid 1800's, when all a man had to do was feed his family and keep them safe and warm...no simple task, but a very simple life with none of today's BS ....

If I could go back to anytime I would go back to just before the beginning of everything and be god.

Where do I go now that I've gone too far?
