Just in case there are others out there like me.....I just spent several minutes reading a members profile. I'd never really considered that as being a great way to get to know someone, but it appears that in many cases it is.

Please remember that this is a public forum, and as such you need to be very careful, and should never disclose private information.

    Posting Personal info

When posting, please keep in mind that though one has to register to write, anyone can read anything posted on this site.

Of course the first rule is to never use your real name either as a user name or in your email address for safety reasons. If an admin catches this, you will be asked to change your user name and/or your email address.

When posting details of yourself, try not to be too specific in order to avoid someone guessing your name, address, work place, etc

Keep in mind that certain things can be discovered 'accidentally' during a Google search and you may learn that your family or employer has found you here.

Bottom line; use common sense when posting, especially if you dont want certain people to know about you.
