    Dear angel

This is a report from 1977 that was covered up for the promotion of methodone rather than the valid results of the test. My girlfriend who has supported me for years of hell found and researched it. It must be published, I thank her for this.
Please make sure that everyone you know reads this full report and method for the detox for every single drug. IT WORKS

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drug addictions, like cancer, are terrifying conditions to the victims because of the feelings of hopelessness and abandonment generated by the rigors of and general failure of the orthodox “treatments.”

Although crude opium addiction has a very long history, the large-scale addictive use of morphine salts, in this country, is generally dated from their use on wounded Civil War soldiers. Following 1864, morphine addiction was realized to be an emerging socially significant problem in this country; therefore searches were instituted to find less addicting drugs. The year 1890 saw the introduction of heroin. For about five more decades, to the year 1912, nothing was done to stop the rising tide of morphine and heroin users in this country. The realization of that fact prompted in that year the organizing of legal opiate clinics, not however to treat the addict, only to support the user’s habit in an attempt to stem the rising crime rate and sales of black market drugs. These legal opiate clinics remained open until 1924 when they were closed down as dismal failures. It took until the mid-1950’s, another fallow period of about 30 years, before another major attempt started, the Methadone Program, which has continued up to the present. This program embraces the concept of orally giving a legally addicting drug (methadone) in place of an illegal addicting drug (heroin).

The lack of success in handling drug addiction, until now, is due to placing the emphasis on the legal aspects of the problem, mainly that of the crime and punishment concept, and ignoring the mental and physical condition of the addicts and neglecting to treat the health and metabolic problems of the victims. Drug addicts suffer from severe metabolic dysfunctions and are very sick people. Any attempted solution to the drug addiction problem which fails to bring total health back to the addict is doomed to failure.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Drug Addiction and the Genetic Disease, Hypoascorbemia
Drug addicts, like other humans, are born carrying a defective gene for the synthesis of the liver-enzyme protein, L-gulonolactone oxidase (GLO). This birth defect (Stone, 1966) causes a potentially fatal, but now readily correctable (Stone, 1967) genetic liver-enzyme disease, Hypoascorbemia (Stone, 1966a). This “inborn error of carbohydrate metabolism” has destroyed the capability of the human liver to synthesize ascorbate from blood glucose, and thus deprives mankind of this important mammalian mechanism for combatting stresses. The normal mammalian response to stress is to increase liver-synthesis of ascorbate as an antistressor and detoxicant to maintain biochemical homeostasis within the body (Stone, 1972).

Most mammals carry the intact gene for GLO and normally produce, under conditions of little stress, about 10 to 20 g of ascorbate per day per 70 kg body weight to take care of their daily physiological needs. A biochemical feedback mechanism evolved in the early mammals (Stone, 1972a) which increased daily ascorbate production possibly three to fivefold under a variety of chemical and physical stresses. Humans, among th

    angel22,
    Best of luck. H is a mother****er.

I just finished a 2 week detox using Suboxone and let me tell ya, it was the easiest I have ever had it! I would recommened it for anyone coming off H.

I did it at home. Just to wet your appetite, besides the first day (the first day was bad) I slept every night, all night (that ought to be enough to convince ANY junky), I could eat, and I could go to work (what????).

Today is my 3rd day without Sub and I am doing well. A little sick, but manageble. NOTHING like cold or darvon or some other nightmare detox.

Meetings help me A LOT. AA/NA I just go. I enjoy them, too.

    Prayer never hurts!

I saw this posting a while ago and thought it would be the answer to getting rid of my friend's heroin addiction. She tried it last week, I can tell you that it didn't work!! I seriously thought that it would work as the article was backed up by some serious and authoritative research. I am also a greate believer in alternative medicine and believe there is a natural cure for everything. So why did this not work?

While still smoking gear (but only up until late evening), my friend starting taking sodium ascorbate, 15g mid afternoon, 5g later that evening, woke up at 5am during the night sweating and feeling a bit disoriented, slept until 2pm in the afternoon, woke up feeling really ****, felt like she was plugged into the mains electrictiy supply!, seriously nauseas after smoking a fag just about managed to prevent herself from throwing up. Had some more ascorbate immediately on waking up, 15g, didn't cure the symptoms at all, still felt like ****, couldn't function and survive another minute. No way she could continue. Ended up having another chase to be able to function. Lucky she still had a small amount in the house. She got some more later that day to function, really upset that the sodium ascorbate didn't work. She felt seriously shaken. It felt as though it had stripped her of all the gear she had in her system, but had horrible side effects of its own. Is there anything that she was doing wrong in the way she was taking the ascorbate, are there any tips you have for making it work??

My friend doesn't have a big habit (<?20/day). Normally if she has a chase late evening it isn't until late afternoon the following day she feels strung out. It is like the ascorbate did do something, but didn't block any of the symptoms and felt worse than being strung out without the ascorbate.

Please please help!!!!! I want to help my friend understand what went wrong.

TRY SUBOXINE FOR A WEEK OR TWO. THAT WILL STOP CRAVINGS AND MAKE DETOX EASIER.
