Default Roll-on 2012 And may we all get what we want....

Not that a new year should be any reason to give up heroin addiction - every-day should be a good enough reason as is the seriousness of the problem. However good reason or not - I will be trying very hard to turn things around, I had given up just a month ago and thought just once more for a treat and guess what? Thats right addicted all over Christmas until now. I would really like to have a natural 2012 with real feelings and genuine emotions.

To all my friends caught in this depressing cycle-may we have the strength and get any tools required to solve our problems.

    Happy New Year EVERYONE!

    Hey -

ANY reason is a good one in my book. Strung out on dope is no way to live, no life at all. And it is totally possible to beat that beast. I thought I was hopeless, thought I was definitely gonna die a junkie. A year ago I would not have believed that my current life was possible, thought it was nothing more than an impossible dream.

But in the past year, I've quit dope (after more than 25 years of addiction), and found a life that I love. I hope 2012 brings you equally positive things! You don't have to live that way any more, but getting beyond it is totally on you. You can find help, and it makes a huge difference, but in the end, you have to decide that you want a clean life and chase it.

Find something that you love, and pursue it with everything you've got. Preferably it'll be something that you can love more than dope. I can't say what that might be for you, but if you have a lifelong dream, it makes a damned good start.

Whatever else - do NOT give up. you do not have to spend ONE MORE DAY of your life strung out. You know where that starts - who knows where it might lead? If I've learned one thing this year, it is that life holds endless possibility. Grab it, and hold on tight. And get ready for the ride of your life...
