When I first told parents about my using I also let them know that I also eat Bacon/Pork etc. As I was brought up Jewish the response I got was well we'll do something about the smack but eating Bacon is far worse. For me telling them what I ate was far far worse than anything I stuck in my arm. Strange but true.

I'm now 3 years clean from the gear but haven't managed to over come my Bacon sarnie addiction. Maybe another year!!.

That kind of reminds me of the time I came out to my father when I was 16. He was so shocked he said: "Well, as long as it doesn't interfere with your school work, then fine". He's since come around, but I guess it's all relative, isn't it? LOL
