I don't know if alchol kills all germs and virus's but I do know that it 'helps' to kill these.

I would not trust it myself but then that's up to you?

Boiling water also helps so I am sure you are ok but you might want to now get checked out for HIV/AIDS and Hep A/B/C

I am sure you are fine though but better to be safe than sorry!

I heard from friends who are in the medical profession that Alcohol does kill germs, virus and all parasites..
But if you are going to use needles it is best to not reuse at all...

In the intrest of harm reduction, I will reply to this thread. I know in one city, health volunteers traded clean needles for used ones, and gave people little bottles of clorox to clean them with.

I want to remind everyone this is a DETOX and RECOVERY forum and I'm going to lock this topic till I get some guidance from Spring.

You did the right thing Mike. I trust your judgement. And you said it right about needle exchange programs. THAT is the safest way to go if someone is going to continue to shoot drugs.

The following isn't aimed at you Mike.....

Alcohol DOES NOT KILL all germs and viruses!!!!!!!!

Even bleach won't kill the HepC virus.
PLEASE don't give advice that you aren't sure about. This misinformation could really hurt someone!
