I am driving my family crazy, i am freezing all the time, has anyone around here delt with an extreme drop in body temp? my teeth are chattering, i know that tx causes body temp irregularities but why now?

another thought, could it be that i was on drugs for so long i was always hot and now that i am clean i am doomed to be a pop cicle (spelling??sorry)

what is tx. is it interferon.. i probably dont know because i have the least responsive strain of genotype 1 . the only reason i am combating the virus so well is because of my age. My gastro pretty much told me the treatment would be a waste which kind've sucked cuz i was able to get it paid for then. Now i dont know

My husband was told he was a good canidate for the interferon for his Hep C. from what he figures he got it in Japan when in the Marines from getting a Tattoo. Him and a few friends got one together. He didn't know he had it until 9/11 when he gave blood. He is supposed to start the treatment soon. My sister was on interferon for MS. Why did your Gastro say that it would be a waste for you to do the treatment? Gosh that really sucks!

Hi!!! Was wondering how you are dpoing. Did you get the fibroscan or the good ole fashioned liver biopsy? How ya feeling? My husband is freezing all the time but he is not being treated for hep c never has they told him his disease was too far gone and a transplant was his only option. But he has other health issues for which he takes coumadin and the coumadin tends to make him freezing cold all the time. Hope your doing okay hun. Steff

well i think that my over all metabolic function is causing the chills
i have actually had two hep test come back undetected
so right now i am focused on loosing weight and building up strengh
i enrolled my children in gym classes, so i can work out
other than having little energy, i am ok
no energy is causing me to be a bit depressed, i want to do so many things
but i have to pick and choose what i do
i am sorry to hear about your husband, i am hoping that i quit
smoking and doing drugs early enough to have a healthy life
i know that right now my liver is good, but a few years down the road
really scares me
i guess thats why they say, one day at a time
