If I were to guess given the time frame I would say they won't show up. Let us know what happens.

I'm sure standard tox screens do not even check for presence of Carisoprodol, the muscle relaxant in Soma, which is combined with aspirin. Mike.

No, Soma will NOT show up in any drug test, it is not a drug they test for. SO RELAX, you have nothing to worry about.

Drugless I'm sure you have your answer by now, but I understand soma is like valium, not something they probably test for as mentioned above. But I was warned about the danger of getting hooked on the soma, and I'm glad I ran out cause they were right, I went from one to two to three... thank goodness they only gave me 40 and won't give me any more. I keep trying to substitute for my DOC but alas, nothing does the trick as well. It's my/our sickness. I wish you much luck.

JSB....I too had a bout with soma..They are very addictive and dangerous...Eventually, I had to tell my doctor that I had an "allergic" reaction to them, so that he wouldn't (and I couldn't) prescribe them to me anymore...

Drugless, welcome to the forum...I agree, I don't believe that Soma shows on a drug test...good luck..

Carisprodal is metabolized by the body into the old school tranquilizer meprobamate (Equanil, Miltown) (CIV), which is both a controlled substance and a drug of abuse. It is very possible they will show up.

This is why somas are so addictive.
    Meprobamate is a pre-benzo tranq.

    Hi,
Sorry to go against what people said, but my brother was extremely addicted to soma and they did show up on his drug screen. i know for sure!!! He had to get his doctors prescription and bring it to the place where they did the test and they noted in, called the doctor and then told the place he passed the test. Also, i just wanted to add I have a personal vendeta against the drug because my brother was literally mintues from death because of this drug. He actually code blued and was recessetated in the hospital. He was drinking and taking 20 or so a day of those. I was the one who found him. So, needless to say, I am horrified everytime I hear of anyone being on these pills to get high or for medical reasons. Hope I didnt offend anyone, just had to post from my own personal experience.
    Love SARAH

HOW DANGEROUS IS IT TO STOP SOMA? TAKEN WITH NORCO, I AM SURE IT IS WORSE. I INTEND TO TAPER FOR ABOUT A TEN OR TWELVE DAY PERIOD. SOMA SEEMS TO BE EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE AND COMBINED WITH NORCO EVEN MORE SO. IF ANYONE HAS EXPERIENCE WITH THE COMBO AND COULD GIVE ADVISE, IT WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED. GOOD LUCK TO ALL AND GOD BLESS.
