Same drug, different skin .. Well, you've more than doubled your dosage about half way through, and depending on how and why you're using them, you'll likely continue to up your dosage as it continually takes more to get the job done as tolerance builds ..

It's definitely long enough use to cause you some pain detoxing, but it will only get worse the longer you're on them ..

Let us know your "story" and maybe we can help?

    All the best,

    Kenny

thanks for the help kenny..it's really appreciated.

    here's my story.

    http://www.heroin-detox.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=15517

my use has kinda been disjointed because i managed to taper down for about a month(oxy) where i was down to 5 mg a day then jumped...

i picked it back up shortly but it was only oxycodone 5mg..which has been on and off...not everyday really...except for about 3-4 4months where i'd do basically 30mg a day...sometimes on weekend up to 50-60mg....

it's been maybe a year and 2 months of not so much heavy use. i was really terrified with the oxycontins and thought oxycodone wasn't that bad. i'm on day 5 of CT. feeling out of it...but better than day 1. I really HATE weed but it's helped me through those 5 days with the nausea and no appetite....now I see why cancer patients take it.

anyway, it hasn't been that long..but i'm just wondering how long is long.

    New Era,

If you could manage to stop this crap now I bet you wont have any paws. I remember 15yrs or so ago and I cleaned up after a long long run, Three weeks after detox driving my car and feeling so happy. I stayed clean for nearly a yr and experience no paws at all. In fact I didnt start with this crap (paws) till about yr 1999. I use dope since I was about 13, younger if you want to count what parents gave me pre school.

Even if you do experience paws I bet its short lived, like a few weeks. I truely doubt you will have any.

Lord, what I would give to be able to say that I only used for a yr and few months. I would need to have the desired I have now to quit dope...I guess we all have to walk the lives we choose.

Do youself a favor and stick to the clean and sober life. Dont be my age 52 and realize more then half your life was wasted chasing a high.
