nR...you're such an encouragement. you're just doing so well and you're always so happy. i'm glad you are staying with us, even if it's just for the music.
I sure hope it's encouraging. We've discussed this before but I'm always afraid someone is going to see my progress and get discouraged and demotivated because they're at the same time or longer and not feeling nearly as good. All I can say is I got lucky, it sure wasn't anything special about me or anything I did.

Nooo....actually not. Thanksgiving will find me in the San Diego area having dinner with my DIL's family (younger son's wife).
Christmas...well...my entire family are getting on various planes and heading westward..to help in celebrating my 5th.
I'm already in anxious mode. Am busy working myself into a tizzy for the next 35 days or so. By the time 12/25 arrives....I'll be ready to use.[:u]
No, you won't. :) I'm sure you're anxious about everything now, but I bet your holidays will turn out great. I think it's wonderful that you are not only seeing the whole fam, but that they are going to be celebrating your day with you. What a show of support--which, of course, you deserve. I'm happy for you. I'll just have to send my support from across the country. [x2x]
I can only imagine a scenario that goes like this. "Welcome to California....the ceremonies have been cancelled because I just got loaded. You can all go home now."

LOL![88][88] Almost 61 years old. About frigging time that I make responsible decisions.
Although there's a part of me that maintains the Mr. Hyde persona...it's all about the duality, yes?:)

Arlene, other than the fact that Christmas day is a very important milestone for you, do you celebrate the holiday in any secular way? I had a Jewish girlfriend in high school and her attitude was, "I'm not missing out on the gift-giving and Santa Claus and parades." Her family had a Christmas tree and enjoyed the traditions as much as we did except she didn't get dragged to church as punishment for too much fun. We shared the same amount of religious reverence for the holiday.
I know you didn't ask me, but I'm going to answer, because it's more fun than working on the book I'm editing. I never celebrated Christmas when I was growing up, even though my dad was Catholic...he has since converted, though. So it was all Hanukkah round my house. Now, though, I celebrate Christmas Eve at my boyfriend's uncles house and Christmas Day at my boyfriend's house. It's fun. They put up a stocking for me and everything. I've never had a stocking before.
