Default How long does Naloxone stay in your system ?

just wondering how long the naloxone in Sub stays in your system. I am thinking about taking weak short acting opiate for the wd's. It has been 3 days since I took 1mg of sub, I have been able to go about 4-5 days before I take 1 mg and I feel OK. When I hit day 6 I will probably need to substitute with something for about a week. I have read posts that the naloxone stays in your system for a long time and I don't want to get sick when I take a Darvecet or vic. Any info?

Nope, naloxone is out of your system within 24 hours. It's the bup that sticks to those receptor sites and blocks the effects of other opiates. You won't feel sick if you take a short-acting opiate after taking sub. 3 days after taking sub, frankly you'll be fine. At the very least, you just wouldn't feel anything, relief or otherwise, but I think you'll "feel" the opiate.
