pharmacy question...
I need to switch suboxone doctors and I was wondering how closely the pharmacists monitor their suboxone prescriptions? If I am going from one to another will this be illegal or frowned upon ( as if we are not frowned upon enough right ?)) Are there any laws against 2 active prescription running simultaneously? Man, I hope this made sense to someone - thanx a bunch

The new prescription will usually invalidate the former one. When you go to your new doctor, make sure you provide him with up-to-date information so he is not prescribing blindly. Sub doctors are limited to 30 active patients at any one time and records are available to DEA, FDA, whatever government agency oversees the sub maintenance-detox programs. Yes there are federal laws against two prescriptions for a controlled substance running simultaneously. Hope this helps.
