Mom.......... I did this treatment. I pm you with my number to call me if you chose. As Jude said, there are risk. I am a lot older then your son and I came thru it with flying colors. I did have a few weeks to recover. I stayed in Mexico extra days mainly due to Hurricane and fear I would be stuck at the airport for days. I had the money so I stayed in Saluylita a few extra days... then flew to Fla. and had a great week with all my family at my side... it was great.

But....For you to travel with your son.. well, I would not recomened it. He needs to stay focused prior to treatment and after. Well to put it bluntly.. the last thing I wanted was family around me. I needed time to review what I witness during the treatment, couldnt talk very well for about 48 hours and people checking on me got on my nerves.

He has to stand on his own two feet. The Assoc. will take good care of him. Be sure he rehydrates, eats when he can. Allow him time to voice he fears, experience and what to do next. You can do little to "make" him stay clean. You will not understand what he is feeling post iboga, unless you experience it yourself. And I am not suggesting you do it yourself either... but maybe down the line.
